57th National Executive Council Meeting of SSANU at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) is set to hold its 57th National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting in December 2026 at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), Sokoto State. The meeting will bring together national officers, union leaders and representatives from university branches across Nigeria to deliberate on critical issues affecting the welfare, rights and professional interests of senior staff in Nigerian universities. The gathering will provide an important platform for reviewing the state of the Union, assessing progress in the implementation of the 2026 Federal Government/SSANU Agreement, addressing emerging industrial relations challenges and strengthening strategies for improved conditions of service and institutional development. The 57th NEC Meeting will also reaffirm SSANU's commitment to purposeful leadership, unity, solidarity, constructive engagement with stakeholders and the continued protection of members' interests.
